Ted Byrnes is a improvisor/percussionist living in Los Angeles. An alumnus of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Byrnes studied jazz and has since established himself in the worlds of free improvisation, electro-acoustic music, and noise. Byrnes plays in a diverse circumstances and with various collaborators including Ulrich Krieger, John Wiese, Jeff Parker, Alfred Harth, Jaap Blonk, Torsten Mueller, Mazen Kerbaj, Charlemagne Palestine, Chris Cooper, and others.
